I came to photography through journalism—always looking to tell real stories. But after having my son during my last year of grad school, everything shifted. I found so much joy in capturing the small, heart-expanding moments that come with growing a family. Whether it’s maternity, newborn, or the beautiful chaos of everyday life with kids, I aim to create images that feel genuine, connected, and true to your unconditional love.
I never set out to be a wedding photographer—and big, formal weddings were never my style. But over the years, I’ve found real meaning in photographing intimate celebrations for friends, family, and couples who might not otherwise have access to a photographer. I focus on the quiet, candid moments and simple, beautiful details—the real stuff that makes your day yours. My goal is to help you remember how it felt, not just how it looked.
Headshots can be surprisingly intimidating—it's just you, a bunch of lights, and a camera staring back. I get it. There’s pressure to look your best, hide that one feature you’re self-conscious about, and avoid the awkward freshman-yearbook-smile. That’s exactly where I come in. My goal is to create a space where you can relax, feel like yourself, and walk away with images that reflect who you really are—not just how you look.
I found my way into event photography through my first love—journalism. I didn’t even pick up a camera until my last year of undergrad studies in news writing and editing, but once I did, I was hooked. What started as a way to illustrate the stories I wrote eventually became its own passion, especially when I began photographing nonprofit events. For me, it’s simple: good work builds good community—and good community makes great photos.
